We are registered as a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor and hold general liability and workers' compensation insurance. 4. Estimates and Quotes

Submitting a form or calling us does not create a contract or obligation on the part of either party. An estimate is provided free of charge following an on-site visit. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.

All prices in an estimate are based on the scope of work described at the time of the visit. Changes to scope, site conditions that were not visible during the initial visit, or customer-requested modifications may result in a revised estimate before work continues. We will always communicate any changes in writing before proceeding.

5. Service Agreements and Project Terms

Work is performed under a written contract or signed estimate that supersedes any prior verbal discussions. Key project terms include:

• Payment: Payment terms are specified in the written contract. We typically require a deposit to schedule work and a final payment upon completion. We accept check, ACH transfer, and major credit cards. Credit card payments may be subject to a processing fee.
• Permits: We pull all required permits with the relevant municipality. Permit fees are included in our estimates unless stated otherwise. Work begins only after permits are approved and posted.
• Weather: Concrete work requires specific temperature and weather conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule start dates due to weather that would compromise the quality of the pour. We will notify you as soon as possible when a reschedule is necessary.
• Site Access: You are responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible on the scheduled date, that any necessary vehicles are moved, and that underground utilities have been marked by the relevant authority (Dig Safe or equivalent).
• Changes in Scope: Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be approved in writing by both parties before additional work is performed.

6. Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship. Specific warranty terms are provided in your written contract. Generally:

• We warrant our labor and materials for one year from the date of project completion against defects in workmanship under normal use conditions.
• Concrete is a natural material subject to minor cracking as it cures and settles. Hairline cracks within normal tolerances are not considered defects.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by extreme freeze-thaw events outside normal seasonal ranges, third-party modifications, salt or chemical damage, tree root intrusion, or damage caused by heavy equipment not disclosed at the time of the estimate.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without our prior written permission, except to save or print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
